AWS MSP Mission Launches Following Partner Mergers
A new managed cloud service provider has emerged from the merger between three Amazon Web Services (AWS), partners. It is now known as “Mission.”
Mission officially launched on Wednesday. It was born out of a three-pronged M&A transaction that was concluded this June between Reliam and Stratalux.
Simon Anderson, the CEO of the newly merged company, described the merger as a “deliberate, strategic choice” that took advantage of the three managed service providers’ “similarly aligned cultures and the same view on how AWS could empower businesses.”
The combined company has seen six-fold revenue growth in the months since the merger. It has also doubled its customer count to 175 and tripled its headcount across its two offices located in Los Angeles, Boston, and Los Angeles.
Mission boasts over 90 AWS certifications and APN competencies in DevOps. Life sciences, health care, and DevOps. It is a managed services provider (MSP), and a consultancy with deep expertise on AWS.
Anderson stated in a prepared statement Wednesday that “We have a vision” to help organizations around the world embrace and harness the transformative power cloud computing and do good for their customers, their employees, and their stakeholders.
Mission’s target industries include “media and entertainment, mobile gaming, digital media, education, consumer goods, marketing, ecommerce, and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) verticals,” according to the announcement.
Its offerings center around six areas: managed clouds services (including monitoring and backups 24/7), DevOps and security, as well as professional services and “cloud optimization”.
